What Makes This Shabbat Different From all Other Sabbaths?
For everyone who finds choosing between Shabbat dinner and Shabbat services stressful, we are happy to say we have you covered this week. There is no Shabbat evening worship at TAI tonight; instead, our Shabbat service will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow. So enjoy Shabbat dinner with family and friends or livestream the service from your favorite temple other than ours.
This isn’t the first time we’ve broken with the practice of Shabbat morning services being only for B’nai Mitzvahs. Last year’s Hadassah Shabbat met at Ohavay Zion Synagogue on Friday and at TAI on Saturday. We really are capable of doing this!
For everyone who does not like to drive at night, everyone who wants to see and hear a Torah service, everyone who says evenings are not good when you have small children, this service is for you.
Please join us for what promises to be a lovely morning of prayer, song and reflection. Then join us afterward for a kiddush lunch. Members of all ages are welcome. We hope you will make every effort to attend and encourage friends and family to do likewise.
Shabbat Shalom,
Rabbi David Wirtschafter
