Culture of Respect

Our congregation is committed to fostering a community rooted in dignity, safety, and mutual respect for every member. We believe that a healthy spiritual community is one where all people — regardless of age, background, or role — feel safe to worship, serve, and belong.

Part of upholding this commitment means creating clear, accessible pathways for anyone to report concerns related to harassment, abuse, or misconduct. We understand that coming forward can be difficult, and we want every congregant to know that their voice matters and will be heard with care, seriousness, and confidentiality.

Below are several ways you can share a concern. Please choose whichever method feels most comfortable and accessible to you.

How to Report a Concern

1. Report in Person – You are welcome to report concerns in person to the TAI Ombudsperson, TAI President, TAI Executive Director or a supervisor.

2. Report Online  – Submit a report through our secure online form. This option allows you to share details of your concern at your own pace, from any device with internet access.

3. Report via Email – Concerns may also be submitted by email to ombud@lextai.org. Please note that standard email is not a fully secure or anonymous method of communication.

4. Report to the “Speak Up” Box – If you prefer not to share your identity, you may fill out a physical reporting form and place it in our designated reporting boxes, located on the table in the front office hallway and the back entrance to the sanctuary. This option is available for those who wish to raise a concern without providing personal information.

5. Report via U.S. Mail – You may also submit a written report by mail. Please send correspondence to: 124 N. Ashland Avenue, Lexington, KY 40502
