Tour Jerusalem: The Jewish Quarter We will be visiting the most famous and significant sites of the Jewish Quarter in the Old City of Jerusalem, before ascending to the Temple Mount. We will enter Zion Gate—the closest one to the traditional tomb of King David and the same gate which was used for the last attempt to break into the Jewish quarter during the Independent War. We will see the Card, the Hurva synagogue, the Broad Wall, and the Common Grave before proceeding to the Western Wall to put a note and ascend to the Temple Mount. We will see what is left from the magnificent Temple which was destroyed on the 9th of AV 70 AD, and walk into the mosque open to Muslims only, to the Foundation Rock, the Footprint of Muhammad, the Stables of King Solomon, and the Gate of Mercy overlooking the Mount of Olives and longing for the Messiah.
